While driving along the highway, we spotted 1st and Bowl and decided to check it out. When we arrived, it was surprisingly quiet, and we wondered if we had the right place. However, upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted us warmly, and we were given the opportunity to explore the venue. We quickly decided this would be the perfect place for the girls. What stood out to us was the unique bowling experience they offered, including options like football bowling, cornhole, and basketball. Oh, this is fun in a box ... So much fun.The staff could use a little training. We walked in and they just looked at us. Be nice if they said something like Is this your first time here? , or Did you want to Bowl or play Basketball?, etc.I never played football bowling before. It was a treat, but watch out! Balls are flying all over the place. I got bonked in the head twice. Even though it 's crazy, I like it...fun crazy.Looking forward to playing again soon
Seems to be managed poorly. We walked in and no one was attending to the front desk and really the whole place seemed kinda like a ghost town. Finally a gentleman came out to help but didn’t seem to know what he was doing. REALLY neat concept and you could have fun here but staffing needs to improve overall. Also, the connect four basketball was falling apart (screws and washers breaking off) as we were using it. The google rating is really deceiving.
Such a great spot! We have 5 kids and all of them can always find things they love to do connect 4 basketball is a favorite! We've had our son's birthday party at 1st Bowl and the kids had a blast playing Nerf upstairs, the party was well run and it was minimal work for us as parents. We celebrated our daughter's birthday at this restaurant, and it was an amazing experience. I made a big mistake by booking the party for a different time than what was stated in the invitations. Fortunately, Hank was extremely accommodating and quickly made everything work. He went above and beyond to ensure that the party was a success, and the kids had a fantastic time! I highly recommend this place!
Cool place and a lot of fun. Met as a team bonding event for the kids and a chance for parents to meet and hang out. 1st and Bowl was a perfect place for that kind of social event. We had 2 lanes for an hour and then connect 4 basketball for 30 minutes. Pizzas were good and the bar was quick and friendly. The football bowling was challenging and fun. The kids and parents both enjoyed the game.
It was ok to nice, big place and the bar was good if your just hanging. Not very comfortable to watch but they had a big area with some TVs and games. I didn’t play the bowling football but looked fun. Price was high for drinks and they don’t accept cash, after giving my card got a Food and Bev Exposition Tax added on along with taxes, I thought I left that California stuff there. :
Fun place to take the family or have events, Good food open bar. Not your normal bowling alley this place Has like a beanbag toss element. Use a rubber football to knock down the pins. This place is awesome! Have never heard of football bowling before but will definitely come back again. Really cool place, and they have a nerf gun arena upstairs which my daughter absolutely loved too.
