We had a reservation for 6pm, but arrived at 5:30pm because my friend didn't realize how close the restaurant was to my home. The hostess was able to seat us right away inside next to the window. We waited almost 30 minutes for the server to offer us drinks. While we waited for our drinks, at approximately 6:10, a family of 5 was seated next to us. They had the same server who took their orders right away. She then finally took our order for a pizza and salad. In the meantime, the other family's dinner arrived, ate and left. It was the first night of Hudson Valley Restaurant Week 2024. They have some nice choices. We both ordered the fried calamari which was perfect and nearly a meal in and of itself. I had the Atlantic Salmon which was amazing, crispy skin in a delicious Beurre Blanc, my wife had the prime burger which was juicy and huge. Desserts were amazing as well. The service was very good. The location is hard to beat, being right on the Hudson River, it's extremely scenic. We will be going back.
Although we came 1/2 hour early, we were seated immediately. It was a nice day, so we we requested an outdoor table and there were tables available. The noise level indoors was a bit busy and moderately loud. That was another reason we wanted an outdoor table. When it became a little chilly, the heater was turned on. The service was great, so was the food. This was our third time eating 3 Westerly and as the weather continues to get warmer, we hope to continue eating this there.
This was our second time here, drawn by warm weather and a restaurant week deal, which was a good value given the regular menu prices (on the high side). The restaurant is perched right on the Hudson but outdoor seating is first-come, first served. We wound up inside. Friendly service, solid food, including brick chicken, calamari and Atlantic salmon. Waitress was amazing, but food wasn't great and took almost an hour to get. We ordered sushi which normally is amazing here but not last night. Not sure if left out but quality was not good this time. We were very surprised. Again waitress tried to accommodate for the wait but something was off in the kitchen last night.
Food was very late and most was cold on arrival. Carrots were undercooked and caused my 85year old mother who was celebrating her birthday there to go to the ER last night with an esophageal obstruction. Watermelon salad had very few pieces of feta included. Overall, very disappointing.
Great view of the water, good service. A bit pricey for what it is. The Bronzino was very good. The short ribs were good, but not great. Got one of their signature drinks and it was a bit stingy for an $18 drink.
This is our third and by far our best experience at 3 Westerly. We had 9 people for my daughter's birthday, and food, cocktails, service, and ambiance were all great! Everyone had a truly memorable time! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Our server was great and the food was amazing. Our family ordered a variety of foods so we could taste different flavors on the menu and each dish was fresh, delicious and aesthetically pleasing !
