We live in the neighborhood and have been here at least 4 or 5 times. Each time everything tastes fresh and always looks amazing. We love having the wider menu options from across Latin America, compared to the other standard Tex Mex places around, and some of our favorites include the ropa vieja, carne guisada, and the plantain black beans tostadas. Plus the number of vegan options is super helpful. We've always had great service, but like everywhere these days customers just have to be a little more patient as everywhere is understaffed. The location is easy to miss if you're just walking by on the sidewalk. I wish they could work out a deal for some patio seating.
The restaurant is decent, though a bit pricey—probably just inflation at work. I paid $20 for three chicken tacos, which were fine, but I wish the portions had been a bit larger. What really bothered me was seeing tequila shots listed at $15 for five on the menu, only to find out they were $65 at the nightclub. I understand they're separate venues, but wow, that's a big jump! The club itself is kind of fun, but I’d definitely recommend having a few drinks beforehand to make those prices more bearable. I know I can be a bit frugal!
I was excited for some Tex-Mex after going to the National Zoo. When we arrived I was shocked at the non Tex-Mex decor and lackluster furnishings but decided to give the food a chance. I tried the empanadas and were pleasantly surprised. My husband and I decided we were actually in the mood for salmon and it was delicious! The lava cake was decent but I've had better. Overall a good experience and appreciated the discount when we mentioned we heard about them at the Zoo.
This restaurant is a scam. I ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken on top was not what was describe in the menu it was burnt and had bones throughout. There was barely any meat on any of it. The waffles tasted good but I didn't just pay for waffles. I tried eating what I could but there was no substance.

The burrias tacos were amazing. Friendly staff in a casual dining environment. Minor issues with the bar service that seemed to be just inexperience. I'll have to return and try some of the other dishes on the menu.
I had the kids' tacos, and they were amazing! Usually, kids' tacos are really small, but these were just the right size. Our waiter was incredibly nice, too. The restaurant always has a really cool atmosphere!
This place definitely has a bunch of suspicious reviews. I only went because of the 4.8 review but it’s more like a 3 place. Can’t be bothered to type more.
Great place with great deals and really good food options. Really glad we had bottomless brunch there, it was totally worth it!
