Third Wave Cafe Wine

My hubby and I went on a New Year dinner date in New Smyrna, FL. We stopped by Third Wave cafe and wine bar, and after a short wait we were seated at the bar. Oh my goodness, it was incredible, and perfectly aligned to our Mediterranean diet. The short rib hummus was massive, it was the tastiest hummus I ever ate and could easily feed 6 people as an appetizer. I had the broccoli salad with chicken, and my hubs had the octopus. Best dinner we have had on New Smyrna!! One thing I have to call out, is that our bartender, Nate, was spectacular- The drinks were delicious, and he was working harder than anyone else in that place, by far. We sat at his section of the bar, and the man wouldn’t stop...

I discovered this hidden gem on Flagler Street in New Smyrna Beach, and it was a wonderful surprise! I woke up early to take a walk along the beach and stumbled upon this charming spot. They serve coffee and various beverages in the morning, but breakfast doesn’t begin until 9 AM. The decor and atmosphere exude a fun, unique beach-island vibe. I particularly enjoyed the resident chickens outside, and I couldn’t help but chuckle at the witty signs requesting patrons not to throw their cigarette butts on the ground because the chickens are trying to quit smoking. What a clever and amusing touch! The staff were amazing—super friendly and helpful. I’m giving this restaurant a perfect score of 10...

My friend was looking for a restaurant with a gluten-free menu and this place was highly rated by the gluten fee community. Although I do not eat gluten-free, we both absolutely loved this place! Five stars all the way! The blackened redfish sandwich was fantastic! The outdoor dining in the back patio was tropical and relaxing! The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The jalapeño margarita was fresh and delicious. Overall, we absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to return!

I’ve been following Chef David on Instagram, and it was great to finally experience his dishes in person during a dinner with a friend. The short ribs on hummus were incredible, as was the baked feta. While these are listed as appetizers, they’re substantial enough to serve as a full meal! WOW! We had a fantastic dinner at Third Wave and great service. The food and cocktails were exceptional. Simply delicious food made with high quality ingredients, exquisitely served in a beautiful garden atmosphere. We can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. What an unexpected delight!

I dined outside and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The ribs were absolutely spectacular, and my wife ordered the chicken, which she said was excellent as well.

Possibly one of the best breakfasts we ever had...delicious chorizo sausage...generous turkey filled crepe...good coffee...covid safe atmosphere...fast, attentive service...charming atmosphere...cannot wait to go back!

Very much a favorite when we visit New Smyrna. Service is great, but a little laid back. Love the food. Good breakfast selection.
