Came here once for a work meal, having heard that it would be good for a mix of vegan/veggie/meat-eaters. The vegan options were all listed so in the menu (a paneer dish is incorrectly marked vegan though, I've seen the restaurant acknowledge this on Facebook as a typo). We had starters and mains, and everything was really delicious. I love Indian cuisine but haven't eaten it out much since being vegan because of being unsure about what would be suitable. The awesome food (plus nice service from the staff), coupled with the food being labelled vegan helped make this a really great night and experience!
Phone here four times this week to ask if they were using fresh or processed Chicken only to be greeted by an inexperienced manager (Bobby telling me I will have to check with my Chef i will call you back of course he...did not return my calls. I decided to call one more time only to be fobbed off yet again by the same person so you must ask (if it concerns you) if their food is re-formed processed as i believe the Chicken certainly is. Shame this has happened as this used to offer superb quality but unfortunately making more money seems to be top of their list.
Really wasnt impressed at all. The decor is the best thing here sadly. Vegan options are very limited and food (vegan and omni) way too salty with very little spice. The staff came up to talk to us every other mouthful, I think maybe they were all new, but it wasnt relaxing and we left still hungry. With the big selection of Indian restaurants in Nottingham they need to up their game, for vegans and everyone else too.
Looked online and was so excited to eat the food. Got there and 80% of the menu that was labelled vegan was in fact not suitable. No vegan friendly starters, only a few curries, no sides, and nothing but the boiled rice. We disputed it as we referenced the online menu but were told that it was incorrect. Had a big table but the food took over an hour to arrive. Good job me mates had good chat.

The online menu for this place indicates a decent number of vegan options including starters, mains and sides. However upon arrival we were informed that none of their starters were vegan and we could only have boiled rice as a side. The mains were tasty but not worth the hour and a bit wait at all. Won’t be returning.
Outstanding Experience What a fantastic evening. Me and my wife went up from Leicester. We were greeted by smiles as soon as we entered. Bobby manager and his staff were so lovely. Nothing was too much. The food, ambience, and atmosphere was just amazing
the food was fresh and delicious! the best I ever had. our waitress was friendly and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed at any time. the waiting time was not long! I'd like to come back here!
Main course small portion of meat and watery. Disappointing to say the least! £15.50 for a lamb rogan josh was way over priced for what was served. Didn’t pay the 10% service surcharge.

tested all restaurants on the maid marian, but this is the best in all. service 100% , eat 100,% atmosphere 100% all at the point
one of the best Indian restaurants in nottingham. the chicken crawls. I'm glad I found a food in Nottingham to taste.
