Took my friend here for here birthday brunch and it was the worst service i’ve had on my entire life. at first everything was okay but once we got our food our server (Bree) never once came back to our table. My friend had then complained to our server that she didn’t get any eggs in her meal (which it was supposed to have) and the server said “they are in there they are just scrambled” clearly seeing no eggs in the meal. After the fact my friend had order an extra side of eggs since she didn’t get any and it took 45 mins to receive those all while our server never once came back to the table. I used to love visiting this place when they were in Hamilton and South Reserve. Their absence was quite heartbreaking for me. I fondly remember weekends spent here with my friends after a movie, often until four in the morning. So, when they reopened on East Broadway, I was overjoyed! My wife and I decided to come here for the first time with her cousin, and I’m happy to report that the quality hasn’t changed, even with new management. I was in Missoula for business and 4b’s was within walking distance of my hotel. I ate there for breakfast all 3 mornings. The food was delicious, good comfort food breakfast. The Denver omelette was filled with ham and veggies and cooked perfectly. The hash browns didn’t disappoint either. The Fast Break special was equally good. Brenda, my server, recognized me the second morning and by the third morning she told me to seat myself. She was working breakfast by herself and kept up with everyone’s orders, kept the coffee cups full AND worked the register! The restaurant was built on top of the river and the views are amazing! I highly recommend 4b’s for breakfast.
Have always loved 4B’s. Have mixed things to say about this one. Have been there a couple times for breakfast on a weekday. Place wasn’t busy at all. Food came out just lukewarm which was a disappointment. Waitress was very nice. I’ll always be back. Also wish the hours were longer like they were when they first opened. I'm in for breakfast so much, I'm practically a regular there. But I have no reason not to make it a common stop. Brenda is an excellent server, Never lets my coffee cup go empty provided she's not busy with other diners. French Toast is always on point. Only recent complaint is the hash browns being too starchy. Otherwise, amazing and consistent food. Would recommend to an out-of-towner
Exactly what you want in a diner. Large portions, right price, clean, lots of regulars, staff that'll chat you up or just bring you coffee depending on your preference. The building straddles a small stream that runs through town. I went here three days in a row prior to a long day of fishing and the food held me the entire day. Taste great!
Allowed to sit where we wanted but didn't realize in time that the cleared table I picked wasn't clean ketchup dried on in 2 spots. Condiments scattered. Meal acceptable but eggs Benedict wasn't barely ok. Need richer hollandaise sauce. Kept spelling burned toast. View is gorgeous. Photos shows another table set up for comparison.

Love 4B's! This particular location could use a bit of work. Especially a few booths that have holes in the seats. Food was great as always.
