4eck - Tisch reservieren

Near perfect. Greeted at the front door with welcoming smiles. We had reservations and prepaid for the 4.5 course meal wine pairing add on. Food was incredible, we were given options, descriptions, and recommendations for each course and associated wine pairing. There was never a rush we were there for 3.5 hours given plenty of time to digest the food and enjoy our drinks. It is clear everyone at 4eck takes great pride in what they do. In addition to what we paid for they also provided bread, a complimentary starter appetizer, and champagne over our sherbet. The only portion that did not go perfectly was being charged for 3x bottles of water at 7,5€ each. This was an extra 22,5€ charge when...

Beautiful setting in the garden and the service was amazing. But… it should not take 2 hours from sitting down to be presented with a main course. And the fine dining concept doesn’t work when your appetiser is 2 tiny prawns and your main course two slivers of veal; this is 8 course Michelin sizing; not 3 courses. Nor should a steak be a €15 premium to a €70 3 course menu. Thank goodness for the steak however as we shared it and filled up on the fries that came with it. Wonderful friendly service but misexecution on the menu I’m afraid, and poor value overall.

Absolutely loved our experience at 4Eck from start to finish. We came to celebrate my birthday and were greeted with a macaron and happy birthday message. Following that we had our amuse-bouche and a 4.5 course dinner. We both tried different things for every course and every single dish was unique and spectacular. Restaurant has a cozy vibe and is located in town for a nice walk after dinner. Our server was Lisa Anna (so wonderful and sweet). Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Sehr gutes Restaurant. Wir haben draußen im Garten hinter dem Restaurant gegessen. Top!
