My wife and our 2 kids enjoyed a sunny Saturday afternoon in 5 Lounge Bar of Hotel Metropole (kids are accepted until 7pm !). The view is absolutely perfect, but try to come early as it opens at 5pm, if not, it will be very fast fully occupied and you will not get a table... We ate Meeze and drank cocktails, a few choices of food and drinks are available but the prices are expensive ! It also limits the number of people who can come and afford the place, which is not so bad after all. I will post some photos of the view for you to see what I'm talking about. Expect smokers around you as it is an open air place.
The view is outstanding, one of the best in Geneva. The drinks are reasonably priced. The tapas are average.We asked for olives instead of wasabi titbits. We were told they were not available which is remarkable in a 5 star hotel.The service can be very off hand. The attitude of the staff on a couple of occasions has been unacceptably rude. Only until the friend I was with told the waiter that the wine ordered was corked, did he change his attitude.Would I return again, of course, on a summer's day the view is worth it.
Fantastic location on the roof of The Metropole Hotel. Overlooks the lake and the fountain. Comes to life after 5 pm and is open late. Only slight issue can be that the service can be slow unless you make your mark...Good cafe type food and prices in line with being on top of a 5 Star Hotel. Reservations are an idea..
We had a drink and some tapas at the rooftop terras. Where you have an extraordinary view on the city and the lake. Very good rosé wine with an affordable tapas mix. If you want to see the city of Geneva from a different point of view, this is your address.

Die Bar hat eine großartige Lage, ist aber generell ziemlich voll. Das Personal ist höflich, aber nicht besonders effizient... dies liegt wahrscheinlich an der Beliebtheit. Ich denke, ein weiteres Teammitglied würde helfen.
Dieser Ort ist extrem überteuert, die Tapas kosten genauso viel wie ein Hauptgericht. Und sie schmecken auch nicht gut. Der Ort ist ein Witz, total übertrieben. Du solltest ihn wirklich verpassen.
Have travelled to Geneva for many years and found this bar by accident. Didn't eat but enjoyed chilled Laurent Perrier over looking Lac Leman. Stunning location, possibly the best in Geneva.
Die Aussicht war atemberaubend und der Roséwein, den wir hatten, war köstlich. Allerdings war das Essen sehr fade, die Hühnerspieße ungenießbar, mit Knorpel in jedem zweiten Bissen.
