I've never had a bad brunch before.. until now. Decided to give in to the hype and try it out one morning, instant regret. First of all, the wait for a table was about 30 minutes, when there were some empty spots available.. no sign of being reserved so I'm not sure why they weren't offered. Once we got a table and ordered, the wait was another 30 minutes. We were given a bottle of table water, but the glasses came out 10 minutes later. When the food came out, I have to say it looked amazing. However, it turned out to be the most bland and tasteless meal I've had for a long time. I don't ever add salt and pepper to my food, but make the food more palatable, I kept coming back to the salt and...
The food was good, but expensive and very 'pretty '. They know they 're an Instagram worthy sort of place and play up to it big time. Not sure if the worth is worth the price for the portions. I did really love my stuffed peppers, but it really felt the quality of the food came a smidge after the presentation of it. Their pancakes were quite tough and rubbery. The 24K freakshake was not really worth it, yes it had some gold on it, but I feel they 're better taking that off and selling it at a lower price, however I will say that their shake under all the topping was a highlight of the meal.
This place is super popular, always a line up. Settings itself is nice, staffs are very friendly considering how busy it gets. Only been here for desserts and although they look really well presented (definitely Insta-worthy) they are very much on the super sweet side. Don’t get me wrong I’ve got a sweet tooth but I admit they are just too sweet for me. Each to their own taste so my reviews had to be fair as it could just be my taste, everything else is perfectly executed.
We visited this restaurant for lunch and decided to try their burgers and sandwiches. We were pleased to find that all the items were delicious and the portion sizes were just right. We also treated ourselves to three of their famous shakes, which were absolutely fantastic. Although the shakes were on the pricey side, they were large and difficult to finish after our meal. 50SIXONE never disappoints for that Amazing decadent shake! But you may not know it does great coffee and small snacks too. I love the shady,0 doggo friendly outdoor area and as the weather heats up, I'd recommend you try the delicious gelato on offer. Drop in soon for a quick bite you will get friendly service with a smile even if you just get a coffee
Great personalised service, comfy seats, GREAT ice creams and food, what more is there to love??? Highly recommend and although slightly expensive you get what you pay for as it is memorable indeed! The ‘Veruca’ bubblegum and waffle flavour ice creams are definitely worth a try, and the brownies and other treats will have you coming back for more.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic and they offer an interesting combination of food items. My seafood salad was nicely cooked, although the seafood prawns were a bit lacking. Overall, the prices are a bit high for an average couple.
