The chargrilled oysters are my go to. The wedge salad is excellent and the blue cheese is pungent and wonderful. Last night I tried the coconut pie for the first time and what a treat. I was expecting a cream pie, but it was not. Chock full of coconut it was like a macaroon in pie shape served with a side of whipped cram. My husband had the red beans and rice and didn't leave a drop in the bowl. Easy to park, convenient to downtown the only downside is they don't take reservations. However, we were able to get a table in the bar at the window a great spot for people watching.
I've been here for years. Now we come weekly, sometimes 2-3 times a week. The food is AMAZING (must taste the devil eggs and the house made pickles) and the drinks leave you speechless. The entire staff is friendly and AMAZING. Look at Mark, Jenna and Eric at the bar. Each of them will feel you at home and as part of the family. Cheese
The burger was juicy and extremely flavorful! Didn’t need any ketchup mustard or ranch. Size up your fries to to the garlic crab fries you won’t regret it! There’s a lemon mayo sauce and it’s so good. We also had the bbq brisket queso and it was delicious! Drinks were great too. Service was extremely good and great view too!!
The food was great as well as the service. Our server, I believe her name was Becky made sure we were comfortable and even helped with my dinner selection which was spot on. Chicken and sausage jambalaya. It was one of the few places that had Gentalman Jack, I will be going back.
So good! Our awesome waiter suggested the biscuits gravy my fave!! The chile honey is a mouth watering taste e the gravy. I had a drink called a ........Shandy (forgot the name) that was made of grapefruit beer, limeade and ginger beer. So tasty refreshing.
Great experience last night for my wife's birthday dinner. The menu has a nice selection of entrees and apps. The raw oysters are great considering they had to travel 400 miles (we had 3 dozen! . The atmosphere was very nice as well. We'll be back.
My husband and I love this place. Sometimes we go for dates nights, other times we bring our friends from out of town. Whether you want oysters and wine or you're looking for a killer brunch with mimosas it's great!
Really liked it. The food, the ambience, staff everything was spot on. It was our first time there and we were not disappointed at all. We tried hot chicken and crab fries, yum. We will definitely go there again .
I went for the first time tonight food was outstanding! Atmosphere was great ! Our server was absolutely amazing! Outstanding job sorry to hear it was his last night though
