This find is GOLD in Nyack. I ordered the chicken over rice and I was utterly shocked at the portion I was given especially noting the price: $8.99. It was more than enough to feed two people! The presentation was lovely: bottom layer of yellow, fluffy rice, topped with chunks of marinated and juicy chicken, with white and pepper sauce on top. The chicken is absolutely seasoned well and moist. You'll see what I mean when you take your first bite. It's a punch of flavor! What I appreciate about the hot sauce is the fact that it enhances the dish. It's not so entirely spicy that it kills your taste-buds. It provides just enough of a kick. This is my favorite deli/restaurant since I moved to Nyack. We usually get delivery but I was passing by one evening and decided to stop in and grab a salad. The place is spotless and the owners are amazing. The young man that always delivers our food recognized me and went in the back to tell one of the owners. She came out to meet me and we ended up spending a 1/2 hour chatting about or families and food. My new favorite dish is their chicken and rice it is amazing!!!! Large portions and great prices. All around amazing place!!!!
I visited this restaurant for lunch after a recommendation from a colleague. I decided to try the lamb over rice dish. To be honest, I've had better experiences elsewhere. While it wasn't bad, the rice was lacking in flavor, and I found myself having to cover the entire meal in their red and white sauces to enhance the taste. On the bright side, the portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. Perhaps it was just an off day when I went, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
The first thing you'll notice is how incredibly nice and welcoming the staff are. Even if you're just stopping by for a drink on the go, you'll still receive a warm greeting. The food is outstanding, with massive portion sizes. The rice plates are excellent, and the falafel is delicious. Everything is fresh and flavorful. The portion sizes are so generous that they’re enough for two meals! You definitely need to visit this place; it’s absolutely worth it!

What Amir does is truly exceptional; his food embodies a level of passion that is unparalleled. You can genuinely taste the care he puts into his cooking, as he strives to ensure you experience nothing less than the best. His Halal dishes deserve special recognition—every time I indulge in his chicken over rice, it feels as though I’m in his home, enjoying a meal as a welcomed guest at lunch.
The new management has taken over, and unfortunately, the food is nearly inedible. The sandwiches don’t match what’s listed on the menu. The chicken is rubbery and tastes like it’s been frozen. My falafel had an odd brown liquid oozing from it. The deli meat might be the only option that feels safe to eat.
The owner is incredibly friendly, and everything on the menu is fantastic. My favorites are the Chicken California and the chicken and rice—I'm genuinely impressed by the way he marinates his chicken. The portion sizes are generous as well, and the prices are very reasonable.
I've only tried this sandwich a few times, but it's absolutely delicious! They offer a fantastic menu with a wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks. They stay open late, which is a huge bonus, and they also deliver!

Best lamb and rice! Portions are huge! The owner and his wife are always so pleasant and personable which i feel i don't see much anymore.
Breakfast is ok, but when it becomes busy, the service is poor. The food quality is just ok.
