We went by and decided to try the Sutter Pub Restaurant on Monday night. The pub was about half full when we arrived at 18:30 and stayed in this way for the duration of our stay of about two and a half hours. The interior of the pub is very real and very nice for a pub like this. It has several TV screens for those who watch sports. The bar counter is beautiful and high with high chairs for patrons who prefer to sit at the bar. There is only one stand in the bar, and then a number of tables and chairs along the walls of the bar. Went for happy hour drinks and some appetizers. Great happy hour drink prices, and the food prices *seemed* decent. Wings, listed as 5 for $10 normally, showed a 9 dollar happy hour price (quantity not listed . When ordered, only 4 came on the plate I'm not sure where on earth that would be considered a deal, let alone for happy hour, but I ended up talking to the waitressand just switching to the 5 for $10 (she said shed have to get the manager to switch it.... . This is a great place to visit, my wife and I happen to visit San Francisco on a quick trip . We have an amazing time at this restaurant/pub , Sara is just good at what she does. Sara is the reason we when back every morning to eat breakfast there. Thefood is amazing, good flavors and good service. I?m very picky about my coffee but there coffee was pretty good. My wife wantedto try other places and we did but it wasn?t the same. I really appreciate Sara at Sutter Pub we will be back soon.

We were going to have dinner here, but got tired, so order it to go. While waiting, sat at the bar and had a great cider in a very lively atmosphere. Food didn't take too long, so had to slam the rest of the cider and was on my way. For take out, all ofthe fried food was still crisp by the time we ate it which was surprising. Great fish and chips, not overly battered and full offlavor.
