I don’t have any recent experience at the restaurant, but I worked there from 2002 to 2013. During my time, particularly on the night shift, we always treated everyone with respect. It’s been a while since I’ve visited, and I hope the same owner is still in charge. I’m curious to stop by and see how things look now. To give you some context, the Long Beach Motel was still operating back then.
This 7-11 has new ownership, and I would advise against giving them your business. I encountered a racist event while trying to buy alcohol; despite being well above the legal age, they denied my purchase and made me feel foolish. I ended up buying my drinks across the street at Valero, where the staff was very friendly. This 7-11 simply doesn't deserve your business due to their rudeness!
As of April 19, 2018, I revisited this location for the first time after being contacted by corporate 7-11. I was genuinely impressed by the noticeable improvements—the store was well-stocked, clean, and overall in excellent shape. They've definitely earned back a loyal customer! Great job!

As I left, I saw a desperate seagull peering through the window, trying to lick a sugary donut with its dry tongue. I have to say, 7-Eleven, I think you can do better.
The staff here are incredibly friendly, particularly Maria, who always welcomes the regulars in the morning. The restaurant is consistently clean and well-organized.
