We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant after reading the reviews, so we placed a pickup order. The staff was extremely friendly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. The rice noodles with beef and bean sprouts were decent, but the dim sum was a letdown. None of the dim sum tasted fresh; they seemed more like they'd been reheated from frozen. Additionally, they didn't offer any proper hot sauce for the dim sum, which was another disappointment. I'm sorry to say that we won't be returning, and I cannot recommend this place.
I love this restaurant so much! I was a frequent customer before I had to move. Their bubble tea is the best in all Alberta and the flavours of the tea are rich and refreshing. Their egg tarts, spring/shrimp rolls, lemon chicken, and green onion treat are all so delicious.I feel like bursting into tears when I eat from here, it's so nostalgic; Anton Ego would love eating here.The service is amazing and the owners are kind and professional. Please drop by if you're ever in Devon, you'll regret not trying this food!! <3
this place is long overdue! as a dweller of the baptismal lake, it is not easy to find my favourite food without making a day trip. so far. finally a place I can enjoy dimming sum, blase tee and lemongrass huhn without the long trip to the city. best recommend to try this place. I have nothing but great things to say about 888 dim sum and noodle and his owners. If you want to excuse me, I have to eat some delicious food.
The food was just okay; $6 for a small plate seems a bit pricey for what you get. The steamed rolls were definitely worth trying, but everything else was unremarkable and felt like it might have been frozen. The pictures for this place look great, but many of the dishes showcased are priced between $12 and $18 for dim sum selections. Absolutely fantastic! The prawns with orchestra sauce were exceptional, and the deep-fried shrimp paired with mango dip was a delightful treat! Don’t miss the avocado bubble tea shake—it's a must-try! For dessert, if you have a sweet tooth, the cream puffs and mango pudding are also delicious. Thank you! - Rocky Williams
My kids and I went tonight. Something were a miss to the kids. But not very much. I definitely have my favorites. I am so amazed with the flavours of everything. family who runs the restaurant were super amazing!!! They even brought some extra treats to our table. Definitely will be going back!!
This place has amazing food! I can't say this enough, the flavors are so authentic and the portion sizes are perfect. We tried the BBQ pork buns, lemon chicken, shrimp dumplings and few other items. Everything was so hot and fresh. Can't wait to try out more of their menu.
All the food from chow mein, to soup to dim sum items were very delicious and served hot. The bubble tea was great too! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended everyone try it! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
