We came here on the recommendation of a friend and will definitely be coming back. The reservation facility on Messenger works very well for booking your table. And booking is a must! From the outside it just looks like an ordinary shopfront with white blinds but when you enter. Wow! Light bright clean and bustling. We were immediately shown to our table by a very friendly waitress. There were already olives and a basket of bread rolls on the table. We chose to have the menu of the day at a little under 13€ a head. You get the choice of three starters, two mains and six desserts. There is a children’s menu and an à la carte menu with maybe eight or nine choices. We both chose a crispy chicke...
We stopped here for lunch while walking back from the Dali museum to the train station based on the ratings. What an amazing find! They had a fixed price menu for 15Euro/person that included a first+second dish, wine, dessert, bread and coffee. The food was awesome! It came up quickly and was fresh flavorful and the portions were very generous. The place was packed with locals but we were able to walk in and get a table. The staff loved having some travelers and they took very good care of us even with limited English and my limited Spanish. I'm so glad we skipped food in the touristy area around the Dali museum and decided to find a place on the easy walk back to the train station.
Don't miss it. It's worthwhile to deviate from the center of figueres and eat a delicious daily menu. change the menu every day. the dishes enter through the eyes by the presentation. very tasty and of quality. I tasted a green salad with scalibada and a butifarras with ticket and ceps sauce. I also shared the cod to the moelin. another dish with flavor and desserts that are not usually from a daily menu. I braid to the whole team for keeping this restaurant as long as possible.
exelente establishment to enjoy a good meal among friends. We have not had a restaurant for a long time where the variety of food was so good, rich in flavors and the best of all the pleasure so friendly for the waiters. What a great place……it was fully booked and packed. We arrived a bit late (got lost on the bike from Roses) and only had a window of opportunity of 55 minutes to have lunch, before we were due at the Dali museum (and we hád to eat after the 2 hour bike ride). We just made that timeframe. The staff was friendly and supportive, the food wat great!
Wonderful staff, welcoming and hospitable. Even though we were the only customers at that time in the late afternoon they took a lot of care of us and were very attentive. The portions were very big. We couldn’t finish most of our three course meal which came at an amazing price of just 13 euros!
