As South African, we have absolutely the best meat in the world, but we have eaten very well in this restaurant during our visit to pau. it was a nice afternoon and it is located right by the river, so the setting is pleasant. My husband and I had the steak for 2 in their special sauce that looks a little like a chimchurri without the chili (there is a menu in English available). When it happened, we thought there was no way to finish it, but we did! It came served with fries but we also ordered a salad (which was expensive to play lettuce leaves and vinaigrette) but cut into the richness of meat and fries. good meal and good service and the setting is pleasant and refreshing to be a little...
Excellent restaurant! A quick service and despite the hustle, carried out in a calm. Nice and very bucolic frame, on the edge of the water. Meat pieces displayed in the customer's view in the fridges, the kitchens are open and nothing but look at the preparation of the dishes, the water rises to the mouth! The dishes are rich and fine fries (type matches) and delicious. The desserts are excellent, but little choice. Ice cream is homemade and the grape rum is a killing! A flat however, no booking possible... If you want a place, go there early. No bands on the weekend.
Safe value for a high quality dinner. A cuisine that we love (mention for the Tripes) that I come to enjoy with family every year. The service is excellent. On the edge of the Gave de Pau, the atmosphere is very singular and soothing. I recommend this warm and must-have hotel for lovers of a very good traditional cuisine. Sometimes you need a little success and come in the right niche because you can't book.
wonderful meat without a verge and more meat. all perfectly prepared and presented. I love the way everything is prepared to the view and any exposure when you enter. beautiful wine map too. We all had a steak in one form or another and it was perfect. beautiful homemade sauces also. the favorite dessert of the house was also delicious. I can't wait to go back.

Too bad you can't book. 30 minutes waiting in the cold. A rich and very good meal and meat. Desserts, however, for the serving (e.g., very good but not generous) Unfortunately suffered I think the price increase as much but more significant than other addresses on Pau. Good experience.
we dined there and were located right by the river, so the view was beautiful. The kitchen is very traditional, we took snails with garlic in the entrance, my wife had a beef net (tournedos) that was very good and I had a lamb that was well scented.
Very nice place in a beautiful setting. For meat lovers I highly recommend!!! For fast service professionals. All products are made home and excellent. One of the few non-smoking restaurants even on the terrace
a very good restaurant specializing in grilled dishes. everything is fresh and grilled in front of you. No booking is taken but we have never waited for more than five minutes. fast and friendly service.
