I specifically ordered my meat to be well-done , which the waiter confirmed to me again when he came to the table with my plate. Let me put it this way: If this bright red, blood-dripping piece is considered well done by local standards, you can 't help but wonder what you would get if you dared to order English . Does it still twitch? Or is the rest of the animal still hanging on and mooing? The meat was also not of good quality; it was extremely stringy and gristly. We discovered the restaurant by chance on the last few meters of our evening walk. What luck! Very tasty Alsatian cuisine at real prices. The service was friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and we enjoyed it.
