As a restaurant l'oree is ticks most boxes. The food is superb with fair sized portions, great choice of meats and fish. The wine list is extensive with local Alsace wines sitting alongside other well chosen selections. The service is professional and friendly and as a non French speaker the addition of staff that could speak English was a bonus. The restaurant was always busy with both hotel guests and non residents.I would have happily given 5 stars apart from the remoteness of the hotel which means having to drive to any of the alsatian tourist attractions and the fact it doesn't have any footpaths running near to it. That said it is a nice place.
Familial (monsieur en cuisine, madame en salle) et traditionnel (décor de la salle, contenu de l'assiette). L'hôtel est calme, avec vue sur la campagne, propre, au mobilier un peu suranné. Le restaurant propose essentiellement des spécialités alsaciennes roboratives ... mais bien cuisinées ; le service y est dynamique. L'accueil à l'hôtel y gagnerait en proposant de la documentation (hors dépliant publicitaire) sur les sites à visiter, les activités à faire notamment les balades.
Hôtel restaurant familial , le cadre est magnifique . Les chambres sont confortables et très propres . La cuisine est sublimé par le chef André qui rends chaque plat aussi beau que bon . Le personnel est poli , souriant et disponible . Le rapport qualité pest très satisfaisant .
The "tartes flambées " or flammekueche are very good : 3 types + a sweet variation with apple. to share between guests : friendly and tasty way to have dinner together. other dishes and wines are worth trying.

Bonne table au vert au pied du Platzerwasel... Belle terrasse avec vue sur le Petit Ballon... Plats excellents et très bien présentés... Service bien sympathique... Y repasserons très certainement !
Stopped here for lunch last week. Staff very pleasant, food was good, setting lovely as we were outside on the terrace, would definately come back again.

Endroit très calme dans la nature .idéal pour se reposer et super bon accueil et bonne cuisine .
