Last week, we dined at A Sprig of Thyme and absolutely loved our experience. The restaurant has a charming vintage vibe that feels comforting. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is excellent, and the food is outstanding. They also offer a great selection of wines. The dining area is small but incredibly cozy. It does get quite busy, so I recommend making a reservation. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and each of the five of us enjoyed every dish we ordered. Our waitress was friendly and very professional as well. I will definitely return!
My husband, a huge steak enthusiast, ordered the ribeye steak special, which was undoubtedly the best steak in Sarasota. I had the grouper, and it was incredibly tender—it practically melted in my mouth. My daughter enjoyed the duck confit, while my friend chose the branzino, and both dishes were delicious! I also appreciated that the risotto wasn’t overloaded with cheese, which was a nice touch. We love the sophisticated atmosphere and the professionalism of the servers. This is definitely a place you must try; we know we’ll be returning soon!
Last night we finally made time to get over to A Sprig of Thyme. The atmosphere was intimate and very tasteful and relaxed. The staff was cordial and efficient. The food was incredible. I couldn't decide what to order. We settled on the tomato tartare and mushroom soup to start. She did the crab cakes while I ate the Shrimp and Soba. I polished it off with a coffee and the chocolate key lime mousse. Chef seasoned everything to perfection to deliver one of the best meals I have eaten. Bon Appetit.
We had a lovely experience at a Sprig of Thyme. It was my husband and I and my parents. All four of us had dishes we raved about. My husband had the duck my father and I both had steak (mine was the special and gis was the filet) and my mother had the shrimp and scallops. We had a fantastic dinner at Sprig of Thyme. The atmosphere was delightful, and our waitress was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable. The owner even stopped by to chat with us. We enjoyed the bone marrow salad, scallops, and risotto, along with a bottle of wine. It was a very pleasant evening overall.
We dined at A Sprig of Thyme this past Friday evening, and I can genuinely say it's one of the finest restaurants in Sarasota. The atmosphere is intimate and beautifully decorated. The cuisine is French, but it’s not overly fussy.

Omg the Savor Sarasota menu was excellent. The service was outstanding .The Tuna tower and the Bronzino was awesome.
