Traditional English tea room, a little over decorated and nice if you like red and pink. There is parking directly opposite. It is dog friendly. It is quite large inside, but the tables are quite tightly packed. It is clean and nicely presented however. I would say it is not disabled friendly due to this, the toilet being unisex and the size of a fridge freezer. The staff were excellent and could not have done more to make our visit enjoyable. Nothing was too much of an ask. There appears to be no set service charge, they do deserve a tip though. This is another establishment were we could not fault the food, while we only had sandwiches, they were really well filled, fresh and well presente...
We met up here with family who were staying in the area. I cannot praise the service and food highly enough. I had phoned ahead as I have an unusual food sensitivity, the owner was so helpful and when we arrived she had alerted the staff and they knew all about it. This is not a normal occurrence so it was such a treat. All the food is properly home cooked from local ingredients, accordingly you might have to wait a while but it’s absolutely worth it. The staff were absolutely lovely with our little great nephew. Booking a table is highly recommended the restaurant was full in no time. As we are fairly local we will definitely be back. We went to this charming little tearoom for breakfast. The staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. However, the full English breakfast was disappointing. The bacon was pale, the eggs were undercooked, and the tomato and mushrooms on the side were unappetizing. The sausage tasted low quality. I want to emphasize that the service was great, this critique is just about the cooking quality.
What a fantastic tea rooms. For any overseas visitors keen to experience a really authentic and traditional English breakfast, this is one of the best I've had anywhere. My dining companion enjoyed her smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. They also make a lovely coffee and the service was excellent. Prices reasonable for the location. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I cannot recommend this wonderful find, enough; there was nothing I'd change. Everything was 10/10: • food made as you wait; fresh, local produce; no change seen as an inconvenient • service friendly; informative and cheerful I would go back in a heartbeat am already looking forward to working my way through the Specials!
It is nice to find still a really traditional tearoom with excellent service and lovely tea and cakes. The staff is very friendly and nothing is too much for them. The service is fast and efficient. We love the traditional decor and atmosphere. We will be definitely back when visiting Glastonbury!
Arrived on time table waiting for us place absolutely packed cream tea absolutely delicious well worth a visit but I would recommend that you book as they were curing at the door as people left so people were coming in well worth a visit best cream tea I've had in years thoroughly recommend
After a disappointing visit earlier this year we decided to visit again. This time the staff knew what they were doing and were very helpful. Lovely welcoming quaint old fashioned tea room/restaurant. Opposite the car park in front of the 'Olde Abbey ruins '. Good few tables inside. Waitress and waiter serve with a smile. Very good menu, Breakfast served from 10am, lunches and cream teas. Open 9- 5pm
