My wife and I visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night. Despite the restaurant being almost full, we were seated right away by the friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant is comfortable and clean, with decent decor, though it does have a slightly outdated look. Our waitress was excellent. My wife enjoyed the tandoori mixed grill, which was cooked and seasoned well, and the meat quality was good. The portions were generous, and her peshwari naan was freshly made and delicious. I ordered the chicken dhansaak with boiled rice, along with a poppadom chutney combo on the side. The food was tasty but a bit expensive - paying £1 for a single poppadom seemed excessive....
We are holidaying in the area and had been recommended this place as producing a fantastic curry. We ordered a takeaway that we were advised would take 40 minutes which was fine. We chose a chicken tikka Marsala, chicken dopiazi, chicken korma, 3 pilau rice, 1 Bombay potato, 1 keema naan 1 vegetable naan and 1 potato naan. This cost £48.85. The chicken tikka Marsala (my husband’s favourite) was unlike any tikka Marsala he has ever eaten previously. The pilau rice I will liken to American long grain rice, it was stuck together and wasn’t great. We ordered two Madras dishes at this restaurant, one vegetarian and the other chicken. They were both very spicy, which was okay with us. However, the overwhelming heat seemed to cover up the lack of flavor in the curries. Overall, we found the food to be quite average for an Indian restaurant. Even the poppadoms and rice seemed to lack taste. We probably wouldn't order from here again.
Great Indian which, as a visitor to the area, I'd highly recommend. We're all a bit nervous about places we're unfamiliar with, but don't be. The staff are really welcoming and friendly (as is EVERYONE in Cardigan) and the food (we had a takeaway) is excellent. A bit different to normal generic Indian restaurants at home (Wirral) and we can't wait to go again. Top marks!

Visited last night. Can highly recommend. Food is excellent best I've had kn a very long time. Loved the chutney tray to start amazing flavors. Both curries were excellent. Staff were attentive and friendly. They don't serve alcohol but you can take your own if you want to. Will definitely be back next time we in Cardigan. 10/10 superb
We popped in here after Dolphin watching from the beach down the road. Apologised for wearing flip flops and shorts, and they were very understanding. Service was fantastic, ambience pleasant and the food great value. Prices were completely acceptable. Menu very good. We will be back. Thanks Hussain!
Disappointing and tasteless. Both the Dhansak and sauce with the mushroom biriani tasted the same. The dhansak was slightly hotter, but I’m not convinced they actually were cooked separately but they were both over sweet with no depth of flavour. Sad, this used to be a top class restaurant.
We often visit Abdul’s This visit was especially good. Excellent service from Abdul who even told us the origins of the food we had ordered. Food cooked to perfection with lovely flavours and just the right amount of heat. We will be back again

We only did takeout, but we spent £45 on 4 meals. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. It was a 15-minute drive home and everything stayed hot. Looking forward to ordering again.
Delightful staff and great value food. Restaurant should consider charging corkage. Very clean and great choice
