I visited this caffe almost 15 years ago and remembered that it was a high point of a visit in the lakes district. (at least I think it was the same caffe! this time I visited the caffe with kiddies in the tow and it was not disappointed. we came for desserts and refreshments. we had delicious homemade scenarios, sticky torfpudding and toffee sauce, short brotbiscuits, old fashioned homemade skyberry limonade and well made strong coffee. everything was of very high quality and burst with taste. the personal is fast and very friendly. the aspekt in loft is beautiful and the children loved the secret playhouse below. this will continue to be part of the rituals of a visit in the lakes district...
I visited this restaurant for the second time in two days. The coffee is excellent, and the locally roasted Carvetti beans are definitely worth purchasing. The Cumberland rarebit was delicious and came with a nice side salad. It is a beautiful, clean, and quiet place to enjoy a meal or a drink. The staff is friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall experience. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.
this is more an outdoor retail with a large selection of high-quality outdoor products. above is a caffe that I didn't use, but offers a reasonable selection of food. I thought it was a bit expensive, but everyone has different budgets. the retail is excellent and very helpful professional friendly staff.
Many places make the mistake of buying an expensive espresso machine and then they can't use it. This place is NOT like that. They know what they're doing: Their espresso is nice, short, rich and a bit oily, full of aroma. Very well done!
