I specifically ordered a pie without custard, but when I got home, I discovered it had custard in it. The man I spoke to on the phone was rude and condescending, repeatedly calling me "Ma'am" even after I clarified that I am male. I didn’t ask for a refund; I simply wanted to inform them that they sent me the wrong item despite my clear request. He hung up on me. I would advise against ordering from here, as the service is rude and they seem to have no regard for customer relations. It was a disappointing experience.
My blood sugar my $pocket are relieved that Ive been living almost in front of this place and try the delicious things they have only 2 days before moving . Trust me : the Eclairs are awesome!!!, the cinnamon and chocolate croissants , the Almond Twist (shaped as a giant pretzel ? 100% delicious One advice: don 't go very early in the morning( as soon as they open 'cause you won 't see al the good things they bake. Go and enjoy!!!!
Original 5-star review: Their chocolate Danish rolls are some of the best pastries I've ever tasted. They have excellent baked goods and a super friendly staff, all at reasonable prices. Highly recommended! If there is one area for improvement, it would be the layout of the store, which could become a great place for coffee if it were rearranged and better lit. I had one of the best chocolate croissants ever! This bakery is charmingly unassuming, family-owned, and offers a wonderful selection of unique pastries and breads. I've visited many times before and typically go for my favorite jam cookies and chocolate rum balls, but this time I decided to try the croissant.
I have been eating their Almond croissant since a long time. Everytime the quantity of their almond paste went down and today was so disappointing that I’ll never go there again. There was absolutely no almond paste. Why am I getting a plain croissant in name of almond croissant???
The absolute best bakery. Sooooo underrated, i used to come there as a child because my uncle owned the video shop across the street. And it was always a pleasure. I'm looking forward to going bck after 20 years.
