Every dish was a complete success. The collards and cabbage in particular were amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and unabashed. Strongly recommended. Note, though, to allocate extra time. While the food is fantastic, it is not fast. It seemed when we went that a single woman was cooking and running front of house. She was friendly, though, and the 30 minute wait was well worth it.
super happy that we stopped at rochester today. we sat immediately, the ambiente is cozy and casual. the staff is very nice and helpful with menu questions. we ordered the vegetarian combo plate that it was amazing! would definitely come back. also worth mentioning are the great prices!
abyssinia has delicious food and I love especially the veg combo plate. they choose 5 of the vegetarian entree options and they give them their own teller with injera, so there can not mix with any meat that their dining room may have ordered companions.

This is hands down the best Ethiopian restaurant I have ever experienced. The food is less greasy and exceptionally fresh. I really hope we can dine here one more time before we leave for California.
We had ordered a large vegetarian platter. It was an absolute delight! Ingeri with so many curries left us totally satisfied. It was about 20 dollars before tips.
Food was so wonderful I wanted seconds the owner was so nice. If I was wish I'd leave a big tip. Oh yeah the samosas was so delicious
