Visited for my birthday. My son has coeliac disease so it’s really nice to find somewhere that has a full gluten free menu rather than searching through all the things he can’t have and to see such an extensive menu including burgers, chips and amazing deserts was fantastic and really made my sons evening. Our table was reserved and clearly labelled when we arrived and all the staff were super friendly the chef even came out to check everything was ok and he reassured us about the gluten free. My son’s new favourite place to eat and he keeps asking to go back! It’s great to see all the offers and entertainment too!
Came here with my family for a meal tonight for the first time, the food was absolutely lovely. My son has a milk allergy and the staff and manager were absolutely brilliant with him, they went above and beyond to make sure that there was a dessert that he could have so he wasn’t left out and he was so happy! Any other place would just say there was nothing for him and leave it at that, but they went out of their way to put a smile on his face so thank you so much, it was really appreciated and we will definately be back! Xx
Have been a few times. Laura and the team are so lovely and accommadating. My kids love it too, always great for families and entertainment like monthly discos and events like Acornival are fantastic. Foods great and value for money, Sunday roasts are a sell out so always get there early!
Went here with the little football team poppys fc u6 christmas party. They hosted this absolute perfect. Food came out really quick. And fresh. Food was perfect for me. And staff and owners was polite. Would recommend to anyone worth the 20 mins drive.

Visited the acorn easter friday for some food what was supposed to be an hours visit ended up staying all night. The food was great, the atmosphere was very enjoyable as they had a disco karaoke! Great pub, great staff. Terrible hangover tho
Food was beautiful, wait was short and atmosphere was fab.. look forward to visiting again.. Value for money and perfect service.. blue light discount made a family meal even more affordable than the already great prices
We came today for the Easter market and decided to have lunch as it was so lovely and friendly. Exceptional service by Cerys who bought our food and drinks to the table outside , thank you
Brilliant family pub, me and my partner had a mix grill, cooked to perfection! Plenty of space for our little one, and was a nice little touch with the open fire.
