ridiculous experience. stopped in after work on my own. ordered a vegan messob for 1, the waitress asks me which veggies i wanted and i responded whatever the kitchen recommends . (clearly she understood that i didn 't want every item on the menu. we don 't have the pumpkin. ok, whatever they recommend out of the others (again, clarification that i didn 't want every item. minutes later i was served an insane amount of food. first time here so i chalked it up to generous portions. proceeded to eat, literally the only guest in the restaurant on a saturday. not checked in on once during the meal while listening to the waitress and a young guy mess around on their phones, him super condescendin...
She the chef Adanech Asghedon had me at the Empnada (see photo). We ordered Wow, can I say this loud and clear that's the best empanada I ever had? My wife of Dominican heritage concurs. Okay, so after empanada: We wanted to sample a wide arrayand ordered these: Key Wot Doro Wot Beg Tibs Mesir Wot Tikil Gomen Shiro Dubai Wot MoFongo It was a feast for threepeople. Our palette was in Nirvana then the chef showed up with a coruscating smile and left us mesmerized. Congrats ChefAda, on a fantastic execution. The staff are amazing. This is a must go Eatery in Asbury Park.
Eating here is always a special treat. All the food is bold and flavorful. It's one of the only places I could order absolutely anything on the menu and trust that I would like it. The owner and staff are very warm and welcoming. If you're even remotelyconsidering eating here, please go for it! I promise you won't regret it!

Nice and cozy setup. Owner Chef is very warm and hospitable as she came to check whether we were enjoying the food Went vegan with sampler and the veggies were delicious. Winner is their Ethiopian bread ???? Will definitely go back
Dinner was amazing!!! One of the best experiences we have had. Ada personally visited us at the table and ensured we liked the food. My only complaint would be the wait staff being rather lost and confused. But food was amazing.
Loved the Food Ethiopian cuisine, Great Atmosphere and Staff were very Attentive and Courtious. Worth the Visit if you live in the area or just visiting. ENJOY
