I was visiting a friend who lives here and wanted to try certain restaurants because saw a few owners discuss on news during local event.If traveling on 55 South or North, Brookhaven is a great place to stop for a nice meal!We ended up here because most didn’t open on Saturday until 5pm.There is limited parking in front but there are more spaces if you drive to read of building. They have a very nice patio on back and you can also enter restaurant. What I didn’t like is a family had a dog in stroller while eating on balcony. I was looking for a healthy quick meal and ordered a lean beef bowl with a side of sriracha sauce. Picked up in drive through and it had a thin Asian sauce they added for $1 not spicy. They got me some real sriracha. Even with both sauces it was pretty bland. The beef was ground meat and not well seasoned. Tiny slices of avocado and egg weren't enough to give it flavor. I ate about half and gave up. Maybe I just chose the wrong item, but for $11 it was weak (and not that healthy with hamburger and white rice).
Food is pretty decent, always takes too long to get it, wait staff is always frazzled with maximum 4 tables sitting down, people get their food our of order, and I have been argued with over something that they should have just complied with, being that they gave me sweet tea and I asked for unsweetened, to which they argued that it was unsweetened, but I had both at the table and they were the same
This is a lovely local restaurant that offers more than just fried food. We discovered it on our way to New Orleans. I enjoyed the sweet potato hash for breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. They are very accommodating for vegetarian diets. The staff was friendly and helpful. I wish I could have tried the lunch menu because there were several tempting options. I highly recommend this place!

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we were really impressed. The food was excellent, and we really appreciated the time the staff took to discuss their gluten-free options with us. I ordered the shrimp risotto, while my wife enjoyed the glazed pork chop plate. We will definitely be coming back! Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of gluten-free options available.
Looking for lunch on the road. Google reviews sent us here. We were very pleasantly surprised. The crawfish étouffée and blackened redfish was excellent. Wife had shrimp tacos that were very good. Seafood stuffed mushrooms were good and baked rather than fried, nice. Also the friendliest restaurant we've been to in a long time.
Really good blackened steak. One of the few places in Brookhaven you can get a good steak. The onlu issue I had was that the baked potato doesn't come with sour cream. I know thats nitpicking but it was the only issue I had.
Delicious! We ordered food through the app while passing through town, and it was ready quickly and tasted amazing! The staff were very friendly. A fantastic place!
