I had such an AMAZING experience with Admiral D that I didn't stop talking about it... so Yelp must also know about it! I can't remember the name of our server, but she was the manager. She was INCREDIBLE at her job and has a depth of culinary knowledge that will change the game in this place. When we came, it poured rain, but the umbrella kept us dry and our server kept us sunny. We got a big boy (blood orange beer, I can't remember the brewery) and one second divided, and in the meantime, our waitress treated us to chips and diving and frits while the rain fell. The queen here is sooo good, and the guacamole is really handsome what I love. The chips hit the spot! I don't know what they eat...
We've given this place a lot of chances over the past years it's been open, but even Morrissey Hospitality cannot fix it. Went there today for drinks and appetizers, I can't comment on the staff, I believe they are doing everything they can to service their customers in this challenging time. Ordered apps today, chips and guacamole/salsa and pretzels. Pretzels were cold along with the cheese, chips were store bought along with salsa and guacamole. Nothing unique, mailing it in, ceviche was bland with no flavor. Great spot asking for new management and a decent lakeside menu, hopefully their docks are paying the bills. 10% more attention on the restaurant and you'd have a winner. Switch it up...
We've been here for five years. Was always good for a seafront, seasonal place nice staff, fun vibe, food is decent. Never tried the bathroom. The negative reviews ALMOST scared me away, but glad I visited (first time in this summer too busy! Will be back before they close for the season.
Even on a busy day, the terrace does its best to serve food as quickly as possible. Given the small kitchen, some wait times are to be expected, but it’s easy to overlook that when you’re enjoying great music, sipping a cocktail, and relaxing right at the edge of White Bear Lake.

I visited Admiral D three days ago. The service was excellent, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. My Caesar salad was not good at all, and it came with mixed greens, which I didn't expect, especially for the price of thirteen dollars.

Beautiful waterfront magic! Wonderful food with sun and breeze gently over! Waitress always efficient, welcoming and optimistic, serve with grace and smile!
Very nice sitting next to White Bear Lake. VERY Limited menu due to staffing issues. Food service very slow. Food quality okay at best.
