We stopped here whilst on the canals and so glad we did. What an awesome place this is and the food is excellent. The mac and cheese went down a treat and one of the party said the burger was one of the best he has eaten in a long time. The beers were fresh and they had a good choice of ales. The service is attentive and the food arrived promptly. The manager went above and beyond in helping me out. Would definitely recommend this pub.
We have eaten here twice this weekend and the meals were absolutely fantastic.. the gammon and steak on Saturday night were delicious but they win hands down on the roast lunch on Sunday… it is actually hard to call which was better I had pork and my husband had beef … delicious and generous portions we look forward to returning soon many thanks
This the most pleasant experience and not surprising as we’d been before when in the area. Food excellent, staff fantastic and location just brilliant. By lock 3 outside Braunston, it could be difficult to find, but stick with it, it’s well worth the effort.
Best Burger I have had in a lot of years(just the Nelson) !!! Hunters chicken burger also inhaled by my husband in minutes. Super friendly, Landlord very friendly and accommodating. Staff were lovely!!! You cannot miss this beauty of a pub. A Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Lovely, comfy, canalside pub. Great range of Everard 's ales. Lots of settees! Friendly welcome We had considered eating there but the menu was uninspiring and not inexpensive, and the portion sizes that we saw others with were 'limited '.
Great pub. Beautiful location right beside the canal. Only shame is they are lacking a good lunch menu. It’s all big meals. Sometimes you just want a jacket potato or baguette. If they changed this, we would visit more often
Beautiful cooked steak very welcoming dogs welcome. Best meal I’ve had out for a long time. Very friendly staff nice and comfortable.
