we were somewhat disappointed by our dinner to be honest. there were some good points: the room is beautiful, the waiter explains each and every court friendly, and the cook places much thought and work in his kitchen. we must admit, however, that the service was far too long between every dish and eating was not a success. it felt as if it was too original, with surprising (but unfortunately failing) ingredient combinations. the simplification of the kitchen to a familiar and appreciated dish with one of its original twist (e.g. the beetroot and the coffee sauce) could greatly improve the overall experience. we ordered the 3-Tempo Surprise menu and received 3 very small dishes with a long w...
We were both truly disappointed. To us the food was mostly (one dish was OK) all but inedible. No kidding the worst meal of our lives! We did not order either the veal brains or the duck hearts but doubt this would have changed our opinion. Very strange flavors. The restaurant was full and clearly very popular so it must have been us. It is only a few doors down from another restaurant (Pouzenc) with somewhat nonstandard fair and we find it spectacular and eat there often. I do not know what else to say.
what a pleasure! welcome. the surprise menu was just that! we are very lively people and each cure was a manifestation. each court was a combination of elements that they would never imagine with breathtaking results. we also had the weeping flight I would recommend. the owner is her chef and the maitre d knows only what every dish is, as it leaves the kitchen genius! if they love food, then they trust on adria!
