My wife and I have made it a yearly tradition to visit Traverse City and dine at Aerie. This year, I had a gift card for the Resort that I intended to use for our dinner. Everything went smoothly until it was time to pay. When I presented my gift card, I was informed that the system was undergoing an update and would be operational within the next 24 to 48 hours. As a result, I had to unexpectedly spend over $300 on our meals. I suggested to our server that it would be beneficial to inform guests at the beginning of their dining experience about any potential issues that could affect them. She agreed and mentioned that the front desk host should be responsible for communicating such informat...
Where to begin.. our waiter was awful. The only time he paid us any attention was when it was time to pay. According to the website parties of 8 or more will have an automatic gratuity of 20%, that was not the chase. Not only did we have to leave a tip for the worst service ever, he seemed bothered to even assist us. The lady filling our water cups did more for our table that he did. Worst experience, we have been several times in the past with glowing service. Wholehearly would want my money back it was that bad.
Sara did such a great job with serving us ! She truly went above and beyond. I left an amazing review for Carson about a month ago and Sara was every bit as great as him. You can see how management is willing to help do even the most basic jobs and is truly humble. I love the atmosphere and the food was as great as last time. I don't go places two times but this is one where I will come again and again as time goes on. What a great addition to our trip !!
Ordered the fillet, which came with asparagus, I asked waiter if I could swap out the asparagus while he was taking the order with just some carrots as I don’t care for asparagus, was told no but you can buy a separate side of carrots. Our 26 th anniversary.. waitress was absolutely clueless,overwhelmed for some reason. Dirty plates in front of us all night, empty wine glass most of the night. Food was awful. I will never go again. Matter of fact I'm calling the manager today to let them know.
A must- visit! The ambience and food were outstanding. I was expecting a mediocre buffet that was over priced, but I was very wrong. Even my picky eater children were going back for more food. We will definitely be back!
Lovely dinner at Aerie with a beautiful sunset view. I had the swordfish and risotto which was excellent. Others had the elk (perfectly done), gnocchi, and scallops. All dishes were great.
The food was some of the best I've had in a long time! We will be back and I highly recommend stopping by for the gorgeous views and delicious food. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
