I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken with jollof rice and plantains. The chicken (thighs) were very tender, delicious, and flavourful. Here is my only criticism: The jollof rice may be seasoned with cardamon and hints of cinnamon. Because the brown stew chicken is so savory, it throws off the flavor a bit. Imagine someone sprinking cinnamon in your gravy.....that is what it tastes like. White rice would be more complimentary to this dish and the pallette. The plantains are very tasty, and they are cooked to perfection with a nice and subtle crisp on the edges; however, they do not pair well with this dish since the Brown Stew Chicken is already slightly sweet. Cabbage would probably be a better...
I hope the owners read this review because I want to encourage them to improve. I genuinely support small businesses. That said, the brown stew chicken I had was quite bland and lacked flavor. If you're serving Jamaican cuisine, it's essential to have the bold flavors that people love. There are other restaurants in the city that do this well, so I urge you to embrace the true essence of Jamaican food without hesitation.
They used to be really good, but my recent experience was disappointing. The oxtails I ordered were the toughest I’ve ever had and lacked seasoning. The coco bread was dry and stale, as if it had been sitting out for a while. I won’t be returning.
My dinner was oxtails peas and rice very delicious and plenty of food for the money spent per dish. I like cabbage cooked a little softer for mom and seniors to eat. But it was very tasty as well. I highly recommend any day. ??

This has to be the worst Oxtails I’ve ever had they were sweet and the rice and peas were sweet.The cabbage had 0 seasoningI paid 23 n ate 2 oxtails and gave it away. The person I gave it to said it wasn’t good
First time purchasing food from here. I had the j chicken with jollof rice, plantains and mixed greens. Everything was really good. Staff was friendly. Will definitely eat here again.

Yes I order curry goat and I asked the guy is it spicy or mild he told me it was mild when I got home it was spicy and I do not eat spicy foods.
