The atmosphere in the room was pleasant, with all the doors leading to the reception area left open. The sandwich box display was charming, but we weren’t fond of the festive decorations on the jam or macarons. By the time we reached the top tier, we had had our fill and took the leftovers home. Unfortunately, some of the cakes were dry and lacking flavor, while others were a bit too gooey. It was quite pricey, and there was an additional 20% service charge. On a positive note, the piano player was excellent and added a lovely touch to the experience.
we came to the afternoon to the birthday of my sister, whom I had organized a few months earlier. the lady who looked around us was nice and I couldn't blame her, but there were a few problems. there was brokkoli stuck in the teekanne that had mom sister, some of our cakes were extremely dry as it was a part of the brotes with our sandwiches. the table runner was so stunned that I was so shocked that it was not corrected before the people came to the restaurant! for almost 200 for three people I expected more sad. I wouldn't go back for the afternoon.
Over rated, expensive and trading on prior reputation. Left my mother sitting in a corner whilst telling me she hadn't arrived and worrying. One of us received our champagne, took 10 mins for the other to arrive. No starter and then 35 mins from receiving pot of tea when 2nd champagne arrived really?! to getting any food. And then a service charge on top. Disgusting.
A lovely afternoon tea. The food was delicious and we were given extra sandwiches. We couldn’t finish the cakes and we were given them in a box to take home. We booked afternoon tea to celebrate my mums 70th birthday. Nothing was too much trouble and they changed our table for one with different chairs with no fuss at all. The food was delicious and we were to take home anything we didn't manage to eat. Would highly recommend.
Been here a few times for afternoon tea now and the customer service has been outstanding every time! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is lively but not noisy. Was a perfect afternoon with my Mum as we celebrated her birthday on this occasion.
I had a lovely afternoon at the restaurant. The food was delightful, and the portion sizes were generous. I really appreciated that any leftover cake could be packed up to take home. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that took about two hours.
Roy was our waiter and provided excellent recommendations for tea, wine, and champagne. He was also very friendly and made our experience even better. The afternoon was lovely, and we will definitely be returning! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We have been to a Pennyhill park many times for their delicious afternoon tea- but we both agreed this was the best yet- thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience
