We made a reservation at this restaurant for a family dinner because it appeared to be popular. The seating area was very small, giving the impression that it was well-visited. It is a unique place, but they only accept cash. It would have been nice to know this when we booked, but we were directed to an ATM down the street when paying the bill. Since the restaurant is small and also offers take-out, some of the dishes were pre-made and sitting on the counter. I started with the IMAM BAYILDI, Stuffed Aubergine, which I wish had been freshly made instead of coming straight out of the fridge. It was too cold and lacked flavor. I visited this restaurant with two friends on a busy Saturday night. We had booked for an 8pm sitting and were warmly welcomed by the staff. We ordered a bottle of white wine and while we looked at the menu, we shared starters of hummus, cacik, and feta cheese salad with pitta bread, all of which were delicious. For our main course, we ordered two different kebabs with rice and salad, as well as a pilic special. All the food was delicious, and I even had to take a doggy bag home as I couldn't finish mine. What a disappointing experience. Been to this place many a time but last night was very poor. A place that used to be the jewel of the Perth road is more like a burgervan outside a football stadium. Ordered 2half donner half pilic and separate donner What we received was not what expected. No donner very little donner meat in the pilic meals and overloaded with rice. Once home and opened the meals we immediately contacted the restaurant only to be told that they put extra chicken in meals which was certainly wasn't the case it was like they had ran out of donner meat and just put more rice in the container . It had been a few years since my last visit to Agacan, and I was a bit nervous after reading some negative reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The staff were attentive and efficient, despite the busy atmosphere. Our drink orders were taken promptly, followed by our food orders. The six of us all ordered main courses, and were impressed by the quality and presentation of the dishes. We enjoyed 6 Effes beers and a bottle of white wine for a reasonable price of £170. A novel experience. The host tells you what you should have, because you can 't expect them to serve obscure menu items like Humus or Donner on a Friday evening at 8pm. He then follows you out haranguing you for having the outrageous cheek to question his ability to run a restaurant that can 't keep it 's menu open prime time Friday. I 've been a customer of the Agacan since 1987, it has been one of my go to places. Not any more. Went to Milas on Whitehall Street, Staff were fantastic, food was lovely................like Agacan used to be.
The five of us had a meal in what is our favorite restaurant in the area, yes the food is good but it's the staff and unique surroundings that make this restaurant so special. We had mixed starters to share *everything on the menu then a election of lamb, chicken and donner kababs, all were great just fantastic. We had Turkish Wine and Raki to finish, a very good meal in great surroundings. This restaurant doesn't take cards so bring cash
We booked for 5.45,went and table not ready,came back to dine meal vg but very over priced £20 for pelic special, you can buy 4x chickens for that price ,don't mind paying good price,but not ripped off,perth Rd needs Turkish completion.You come out your clothes smell of the kitchen as it's a small place.Its a pity because food is good.

There are no words to describe the food here it’s so tasty and honestly great. There is a small menu but what they do is perfection. It’s cash only so remember and take some out but would 100% recommend to everyone and definitely be back!
