When approaching the rather grand entrance with fire lamps and greeted by a very smart gentleman in Indian dress I was looking forward to an evening of fine dining. We were greeted with a smile and taken to our table. We chose to partake the buffet. There was not a great choice of starters but what we had was quite nice. On finishing our starters nobody collected our plates and we had to put them on an empty table ourselves. There seemed to be a god choice of main courses and I chose a small portion of butter chicken and goat curry. Whilst the butter chicken was quite tasty the chicken was grisly. Recently celebrated by daughters wedding reception on 7th May evening dinner with 120 guests and this place is awesome. The ambiance is great and the food was so delicious. I have tried many Indian Restaurants but none of them have the authentic taste but Agni prepared the way i wanted. The owner and the staff are so lovely and very friendly and very accommodating.All my guests including local Australians, Indians and Italians all enjoyed the great dinner. I recommend this restaurant as a high quality delicious food and a must to visit whenever you are in Perth. Thanks Thilak, Tina and team for being such a good hosts. Wishing you all the best.
We were looking for an Indian restaurant on Sunday night, and where we live we are really spoilt for choice. This time we decided to go back to Agni, and we had a delicious buffet AND a free bottle of wine (we were paying with Citibank Visa to get this) for $79. Money aside, the food itself was delicious: samosas, tandoori chicken, goat curry, fish curry, butter chicken, rogan josh, chickpea curry, several other vegetable curries (okra was to die for!), dhal...and then sweets and fruit. The service was excellent, we were looked after and will sure to be back!
Always nice going to this restaurant for Sunday lunch.I wouldn't go so far to call it 'fine dining' though the settings suggest it.The buffet has a wide variety of both mild and spicy options to suit all palates. Vegetarian options available. The curries are delicious, full of flavour and freshly made (you can watch them making it). The desserts, well, they are authentic. You don't really come here for the desserts. All you can eat within the time frame.Service is generally efficient and friendly. However, they could improve by clearing the tables faster. We went here with family on a Saturday night. They had a big function before hand, being the end of Ramadan so they fit us in at 8pm.One of us was from India and they suggested Thai restaurant as it's close to his memories from home and we weren't disappointed. The value for money was fantastic and the quality of food was in no way compromised. the service was great, its children friendly and they do BYO.I would highly recommended coming here for some very tactic authentic food.
Visited here with family and tried the buffet. Not usually a fan of this type of presentation but Agni do it very well. The staff are attentive but not visible, helpful but not pushy. The food flavours were excellent and Ive rarely enjoyed Indian food so much. The chance to sample so many dishes was also great. Will definitely be back.
Agni Indian is rated among the very best in Perth and seriously the food is amazing. The weekly buffets are reasonably priced and the choice of food will cater to any palate and appetite. The service crew and the management does a very good job and will recommend to anyone.
The Tandoori chicken here is second to none. The buffet is well priced. A la carte menu offers up some very well priced dishes . I had the Zhinga Lasuni which was very nice. Greta setting and friendly staff. Recommended, even if you have to travel Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
It's an Indian restaurant recommended by friends living in Perth. Curries were good but was bit on the sweeter side. Portion sizes were good too.
