The food at this restaurant has always been good. I decided to order delivery for a change, which turned out to be a mistake. I pre-ordered for a specific time but received a 2-hour delay notification. I don't mind being a few minutes late, but after waiting 30 minutes past the scheduled time, I tried calling the restaurant multiple times with no answer. Eventually, I had to contact the delivery service they use, who informed me that the restaurant was trying to reach me and that my food was on the way. It arrived 45 minutes late, with the rice and naan bread cold and the entrees warm but not hot, despite living less than a mile away. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
Have you ever experienced something so amazing that you question if it's even real? That was the feeling I had when I left this restaurant. The food was like a masterpiece, as if Van Gogh himself had cooked it. The service was impeccable, elegant, and thoughtful, like a graceful swan on a spring day. The Aloo Gobi was absolutely divine. I am almost moved to tears just thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. Cancel your plans if you have to. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience.
This was our first time dining here and we were greatly impressed by the food and service. Since we recently moved into the neighborhood a few months ago, we decided to try out an Indian restaurant and we were not disappointed. There were so many dishes on the menu that we wanted to try. The only downside was that it was a bit chilly inside as the radiator was not turned on.
An excellent Indian restaurant We have been driving for over 25 years into this fantastic family-run Indian restaurant on Gosforth High Street and have never been disappointed. We now classify them as friends and have always enjoyed a great service as well as excellent food. Whether we eat or take it, it's always delicious and we'll be back soon. The Ahad has been consistently good over the years but more recently its been outstanding. The quality of the food is superb and the staff are really friendly. It's hands down the best Indian restaurant in the area and I'm tempted to say the best I've been to in Newcastle North Tyneside.
Whom for our anniversary dinner and it was great. The staff was in shape from the beginning to the end. It was such a nice evening. The food was fantastic and the wine couples too. What a treat. Highlights were the blue gray for me and lobster for my Nabeby.
Love this place, the food is amazing and the staff are so friendly making you feel right at home, such a comfortable atmosphere, however I think the lighting could be adjusted, it's very bright...but that's me just being picky...
