1. They weigh their frozen chicken, which understandably adds around 30% to the weight due to the frozen water content.
2. The chicken is cut out of sight, and when you receive your order, it doesn't match what was initially weighed. For instance, I was sold a whole chicken that weighed 3.7 pounds when frozen and solid as a rock. However, the actual chicken I received, which had thawed to room temperature, weighed only 2.3 pounds. This feels utterly dishonest and unethical.
Furthermore, the staff appears disheveled, and the entire establishment is unclean and has a foul odor. My last visit was very disappointing. I would advise caution when making purchases here.
Everything is kept frozen, when we order they make warm and give to us. We went to purchase chicken but by mistake along with that purchased chicken kebab, once he gave us the plate immediately regretted for taking that. The kebabs are dipped in food color, very dry and they might be cooked a week ago, after taking the first bite immediately we dumped into trash bin paid the bill and came out. They are not maintaining minimum standards. The guy who is taking care of the store observing everything but simply going in and out. I happened to find this place, and I'm glad I did. The food here is authentic Pakistani cuisine, just like home-cooked meals. The spice and salt level is perfectly balanced, unlike many other places in the area that tend to overload on spices, which can overpower the taste. The owner is personally involved in running the restaurant and genuinely cares about the customers' experience, even being open to suggestions. I would definitely visit again for more delicious food. Whenever I need meat on the go, after a quick stop at Sabzi Mandi, I get halal chicken and mince from here. No complains. Chicken samosas are good too!
