Fish was excellent, fresh and the right temperature, perfect execution. Chef was warm and welcoming. It would add to the vibe and the authentic feel if he was out front working rather in the back kitchen leaving the counter area completely empty. Waitress today…has the potential to prevent this promising new restaurant from becoming established in Port Washington yet another staff member probably needed to take care of phone orders etc. Otherwise, I would go there for their sushi and sashimi over Hana, Nikkei of Peru or Tiga for sure. Thankful we didn’t go to our usual and finally gave it a go.
I visited this restaurant during its soft opening before the renovations, enticed by a flyer I received in the mail. They were offering 15% off every meal that week, which was an incredible deal! The sashimi was exceptionally fresh. The head chef and owner personally came out to thank us for supporting his new venture and shared that he sources his fish fresh every day. We loved the food so much that we ended up ordering takeout two more times that week. In addition to the sashimi, we really enjoyed the tartare and stir-fried noodles. The chef even created customized rolls for my kids.
The staff here are incredibly kind, and the atmosphere feels fresh and inviting. The food is absolutely delicious. I have a real fondness for this sushi spot; it's charming and feels cozy in a delightful way. The chef was very polite, coming out to greet my mom and me, and we had a lovely chat. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!
Every detail was perfect! Such a peaceful atmosphere, absolutely delicious homemade vegetable gyoza, and the sushi was so tasty. Thoughtful touches like some eel on the house and a tasty Japanese candy on the way out made our night. Could not recommend this gem more!

I've been there four or five times now and am very impressed. the fish is delicious and fresh. the variety of fish on the special sashimi and sushi entrees are wonderful. the owner and staff are super friendly and charming.
Absolutely fantastic! The staff and the owner were incredibly friendly, the food was exquisite, and the entire experience was wonderful! I will definitely return!
