Just walk downhill, take a turn at a street, and you'll find it. • I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends. Early weekdays tend to be less crowded. • Inside, there are plenty of tables that fill up quickly. They're arranged with wall panels as dividers, providing a decent amount of space for each group. • The service is efficient, and you won’t have to wait long for your food. • The portion sizes are appropriate. • Personally, I found the food to be quite average. This charming little Japanese restaurant offers a menu with some modern twists. It features a variety of sashimi but has limited options for main dishes, with only one noodle dish available. It's a great spot for those who love raw fish. However, to feel fully satisfied, you might want to order a combination of appetizers along with some sashimi or sushi in addition to a main course. The service was excellent and very quick, and the food was delicious. Portion sizes are quite reasonable.

Fantastic food, the owner/gentleman was very helpful and accommodating whereas the waitress was abrupt and when the dishes came, she made no attempt to place them in the centre of the table, she just left them at the end of the table and walked away! During our two hour session, she did not come to our table to clear anything, the older gentleman did it all. I would go back for the food but I hope she picks her service level.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! I tried the edamame, eggplant, tofu, sashimi for my main course, as well as the soft shell crab roll and tuna roll. I would rate this restaurant 100 stars if possible! Every dish is incredibly delicious—truly the best I've ever tasted! This is the kind of place that keeps you coming back whenever you get the chance. I highly recommend trying more than just the sushi rolls; there are other dishes that are simply outstanding.

I apologize for not taking any photos because I finished my meal too quickly, but this Japanese restaurant might just become my go-to spot for a quick bite after work. Everything I tried was delicious, and the decor was quite charming as well.

The food is to die for! Probably better than any of the top Japanese restaurants in Sydney. Beautiful family run business with very friendly service. Always so busy with locals, as most of us will go once a week.

Our family looks for this restaurant every time we're in Sydney. The aubergine bowl is extremely good!
