Extremely terrible. I love this place I've eaten there multiple times but after todays experience never again. Nor would I recommend this place. I called for take out. I ordered ABC ramen, Volcano ramen, California roll. No drinks, no modifications no add ons just simply extra hot sauce on the side. He emphasized how they close at 230 pm and to pick up before than. I arrived 15 mins after I placed the order. I had to wait for any help or greeting at the front for almost 10 minutes, his attitude continued to be extremely unprofessional as I paid for my takeout. If you're looking for a solid Ramen spot in the City of Industry/Hacienda Heights area, rest assured Ajisen's got you. Be prepared to park in a smaller garage. If you're familiar with the area (Diamond Plaza), then you know that great parking is hard to come by, especially on the weekend it doesn't reflect badly on the restaurant, though.I don't usually expect to be greeted upon arrival into a ramen restaurant these days, but these folks made it feel very welcome, and the server/host even happily gave some recommendations! Awww I'm sad to give this place a 2 star. The ramen was good. The sushi was 2/10 for me and the people I came with weren't a fan. Everyone enjoyed the ramen as well as myself. The service was average. The establishment was clean. The music was good. However after we ate half the people I came with got upset stomachs. This is why I'm giving them a 2 star which I'm very sad about. We all got something different but this was our lunch/ dinner aside from everyone eating something earlier in the day. Everyone is different so maybe you won't get an upset tummy. I again did enjoy the ramen but was disappointed with the sushi and the ice cream. if you get a chance to try their grilled scallops, they're really fat and juicy and flavorful. Totally worth it. For ramen, the Ajisen is basic but the broth and toppings are great and noodles are the perfect texture. The beef curry ramen is not too sweet with its curry base and has a nice slight spice to it. I really liked how crunchy the pork cutlet was, it looks like beef but I think it's pork. The ramen was nice and soft and complemented well. I don't like the sauce but I dipped it in Sweet Sour sauce and I preferred that way better. Their fried chicken is great but it is a little pricey. I haven't been here in so long and it was nice to eat here again. I hope they get some more business because when I was there, it wasn't that busy. Overall, would come back again.
Great service. I had the pork ramen but didn't like the flavor. It tasted like they used tap water to cook it. I don't consume ramen regularly so not sure if that's what it supposed to taste like but I was not impressed. I would give them another try but would not order Ramen. Maybe teriyaki chicken with white rice.
I have driven past this place multiple times, and finally decided to try it. I ordered katsu ramen, which I don't think is what they are known for.Portion was big enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Staff was friendly and patient. AND it tasted great!
This is not the same Ajisen that I used to love. I tried the premium pork ramen in Colima, and it was very different from what I remember in terms of taste and aroma. I hope they can improve and return to their previous quality. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
