Throughout our visit, I maintained a professional demeanor and neutral body language. We stayed because we were visiting our daughter at college, and this was her choice of restaurant. If it had just been my husband and me, we likely would have left. As the only African Americans in the establishment, we couldn’t help but notice the underlying issues around us. Our waitress was quite unhelpful; her attention was mostly directed toward another party and her body language was off-putting. We were first timers to AKI hibachi. It's worth every dollar. The food was delicious...and I never use that word ???? but it was! The sauce that they put in the two little saucers to put into your food was great! I wasn't sure if I'd like it so I triedalittle and ended up dumping both onto my food. I had the chicken hibachi with the salad and John got the pick 2 from thehibachi bar, it was shrimp and scallops over fried rice. He also got the volcano sushi roll. Highly recommend this place we willbe going back
Reservations for hibachi are recommended, but they managed to seat our family of six with little notice. The chef made the experience particularly memorable for my niece, as it was her first time at a hibachi. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was outstanding and the chef was exceptional. This is definitely one of the best hibachi restaurants we've visited! Highly recommend!
In person great food service etc if ordered online they might forget some things and trying to call to get that taken care of they will tell you you can pick it up in person and if you don’t they won’t give you a refund or anything it’s annoying as someone who is out of town at the moment when I was told this I couldn’t sit by they wouldn’t fix a mistake they made Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I had dinner at a non-hibachi table on Saturday night (9/23) and ordered the chicken and steak hibachi dinner. Unfortunately, it was the worst experience I've ever had. The chicken was as hard as a rock, and the steak was impossible to chew. Overall, I would rate the food a 1.
On the downside, since it was near closing, the presentation of the dish was a bit lacking; the roll appeared to be hastily placed on the plate without much attention to detail. Additionally, the green tea was quite weak, almost resembling flavored water.
