We visited Akino a couple of times before the pandemic and dealt with hour long waits for a table and full reservations etc but each time we were very happy with the food and service. But this visit was different almost everything was not the same exceptfor our helpful and down to earth host who was also the manager the went well above anyone else working there. Good all you can eat (AYCE) sushi is hard to come by, so discovering Akino during lunch was a blessing sent from heaven. If you have a big appetite and love sushi, this is the place. Please be AWARE of this place. I understand it is ?All you can eat? but the size of sushi they served were extremely small. You can compare them with a size of a quarter, same goes with special rolls. They don?t care about the quantity of food they?reserving. Took them forever to prepare the food, we got full while waiting, it wasn?t a busy day. The water was from a big oldwhite jar, who knows how long the water has been sitting there for. we're already one of them here and it's pretty good quality ayce sushi. the prices have risen significantly in recent years, just like everything else, which is completely understandable (from $26 to about $35 now? So we're going a lot less now. lachs sashimi is our favorite. next to lachsmaki and handroll. the personal is pretty great. if they are not super packed or super busy, they are very attentive. everything is fresh and I appreciate the fact that I can simply fill out the paper menu instead of asking for some many things at once at the order. can park an alpt room especially now that there are even less parking spaces with the outside installation. One of the best all-you-can-eat there is! If you?re craving Japanese cuisine this is the place for you. Great selection of food and everything is made-to-order so everything comes out fresh, tasty and delicious. You?ll definitely get your money?s worthhere. They have hot foods, sushi, rolls, salad and everything else. Highly recommend. Make sure you bring a good appetite. And Ithink they give a discount if you?re paying in cash.
The Basic Box did not come in a box, but rather a cheap plastic sushi tray. The price was much higher than it should have been for the quality, as some pieces of sushi contained large chunks of plastic.

I always order the Tiger Roll and California Roll at this restaurant, and they always turn out great. The fish always tastes fresh and well-prepared.
