al chulo is my all-time favorite restaurant. the margaritas are exceptional and eat. Oh, eat! always fantastic! so fresh and tasteful. some can complain about the size of the tacos. I'm more about the aromes they're packing in that dinge. cream or smooth salsas from fresh paprika (they never know how the heat will be on every given day because.nature!, the freshest perfect guacamole, and all tacos are wonderful, but we are crazy about the garnels. the al camaleon (I think this is the way it is written, but they get the gist is our absolute
Best thing about this place is the yummy drinks. We had many different tacos. I thought overall they were ok, some better than others. The ambiance was nice and the server was very helpful and accommodating. Drinks were a bit slow to come out, considering there weren't many people there. I might go back for a drink and the pork tacos.
Our family loves this hidden gem in West Chicago. Their tacos are delicious, especially my favorite, the fish taco. We always end up more tacos as we can't get enough. The wait staff is very friendly and makes eating there even more enjoyable.
The esquites (corn) are fantastic, as is the rice! Every taco option is delicious. My favorites are the pork and fish tacos. This place is on par with Bien Trucha or A Toda Madre, but a bit more budget-friendly.

Great mojito, so fresh! Delicious food.. Short on staff, but server let us know it was busier than usual (still open tables) and was very accommodating. I’d go back or try their other locations too.
The food here is exceptional and tastes like authentic Mexican cuisine—nothing like the tacos from Taco Bell. These tacos are delicious! The service is also excellent.
Excellent food! Wonderful flavors, lovely presentation. Drinks were excellent! If you haven’t tried it, it is well worth the time!
This place is a total hidden gem! The tacos were amazing, great mixologists, salsas to die for. Will be back soon!
