Just back from a superb meal in Al Duende. Yes, service was slow but that didn't matter as the company was good and we were in no rush. Octopus and cuttlefish are two dishes that are easily ruined. 30 seconds too long in the cooking...and they become like rubber. We had both and to be quite honest I do not remember eating either of these as well cooked anywhere. We have booked to back this Sunday coming which will be their last night of the season as they shut down till April 2015. Al Duende; good honest Catalan cooking. Just go at their speed and accept their very acceptable eccentricities and a grand meal will be had.
The location is lovely, in the old town in a small square next to an art gallery. The service was terrible, the lady taking the orders forgot drinks, forgot what we had ordered and didn't instill us with any confidence. When the wine arrived it...was without glasses! We waited thinking she would return with them but we had to ask for them after waiting for some time. The food was very average and not worth the money. Several people left without ordering.
Great restaurant! I came with my mother a few weeks ago, we were in a somewhat isolated space, it was very pleasant! The person who served us was lovely, took the time to explain all the dishes to us and was very attentive. We had a great time!

A good surprise in my opinion! Very popular traditional and revisited tapas and a nice menu of dishes but which we didn't have the stomach to taste that evening.
Small tapas restaurant at the corner of a small alley, which gives it all its charm. Pleasant and passionate patrons of the proposed kitchen.

Very nice place to eat, very good cuisine and great quality/price. Just a pity that this beautiful place is no more valued
