Ok. So every time I have been here, it has been consistently excellent. Firstly, with a multitude of friendly wait staff, there is always someone (psychic it seems) ready to replace your empty water bottle without asking, or replace the rogue piece of cutlery that fell on the floor. Our table of eclectically aged diners have ordered something from every chapter of the menu and been totally satisfied. The tasting plate is particularly good value and the standout main meal for seafood lovers (me) is the Grilled Seafood Plate. This restaurant has a 70's vibe, with a large open space and plenty of tables giving it a friendly yet functional atmosphere. There is a private area in the back, an open kitchen, and a wood-fired pizza oven. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the menu is extensive. I started with some bread that came with warm olives, balsamic oil, and rocket, and it was a delicious and affordable starter. From the phone call to ask about a table to the very end of our visit, we felt like we mattered they took good care of us, we weren’t just another bum on a seat. The man(owner maybe) was very helpful said he could fit us in make sure we were done in time for our movie after. Said he’d look after us, how lovely.Hubby ordered carbonara I ordered veal scallopini we shared a chips. Drinks, garlic bread, chips meals all came out very quickly the waitress waiter were very friendly attentive. We visited this restaurant with a group of 7 for dinner on a Saturday. We were the first customers to arrive, but the restaurant quickly filled up. The service was good and quite fast, maybe a bit too fast as we felt a bit rushed when they started clearing our plates before everyone had finished. Just the best Italian in Perth I think all the Italians in Perth must come to Al Fornetto for any excuse to celebrate as there is always such a lively atmosphere filled with families And even though the restaurant is generally full service is always excellent and we have never had a bad meal highly recommended
Last minute decision to eat pizza took us here. My friend who lives nearby had been before so we were aware that the pizzas were excellent.. and they certainly were! Great welcome, friendly and efficient service and reasonable prices.
Impeccable service. Probably the best table service I’ve ever received. The waitress knew what we needed without being prompted which made dining with a big group with young kids a breeze. Food was great too.

Come here all the time, we never book for the two of us) and they always manage to fit us in with a smile. Food comes in big servings, is very tasty and very reasonably priced.
