This fresh Mexican restaurant is a wonderful addition to Wood-Ridge, adding to its restaurants which are walkable from within the community. We shared a weekday special of tacos and guacamole, and I had the Cameron's Diablo from the seafood section of the menu, and it was so tasty I ordered a second additional side of rice just to soak up the habanero/chipotle/tequila house sauce. Very glad to see diversity in the food offerings in the Borough of Wood-Ridge, and especially when the latest addition is such a delicious, beautifully-adorned, friendly spot. We went on a Wednesday night with two other couples. The decor was so colorful and festive. All of the apps and entrees we ordered were so delicious and fresh and were large portions. As with another review it is Mexican food with a Peruvian flare. The ceviche was especially delicious and fresh. All of the desserts were very good as well. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. It is a BYOB with parking in the back of the building. We will definitely be going back! We ordered tacos to go because we live a few minutes away and then walked in to pick it up and immediately decided to eat inside instead. The vibe inside of the restaurant is so cute and well decorated. You’re transformed to a fun restaurant in Mexico City or Cancun. We got shrimp, chicken and birria (steak) tacos. They’re made with fresh ingredients and the perfect portion at a good price. Of course topped off with a Mexican Coke. The service was likewise superb. Highly recommend.
