Alabama has always been a favourite haunt and is right in for my tastes of whiskey. I took a group of friends there the other night and was surprised at how impersonal, and unexcited the staff were. It just seemed like none of them wanted to be there. We bought a first round of drinks and sat on the stools at the bar. It makes sense that the stools were there to sit on but as soon as we sat there, we were ignored and it was next to impossible to get another round. We had to get up and move away and come back to finally get service. Ich erkenne, dass es eine Bar ist, kein Restaurant, aber die Burger und Chips im Vergleich zu den Preisen, die sie in Rechnung stellen, sind ein bisschen geizig! Aber wir waren bereit für eine gute Nacht und würden zurückkehren, vor allem, um dort eine Band zu hören, könnte aber essen, bevor es hierher kommt, da es ein Tad teuer ist.

Ich würde normalerweise nicht eine Bar für sein Essen überprüfen, aber dieser späte Nachttauchgang ist A-OK. Das Whisky Sauer ist mit einem verbrannten Marshmallow, Yum! Ich sah, dass zwei erwachsene Männer einen Burger hin und her teilen, und ich musste (allein) das würzige gebratene Hähnchen versuchen. Perfekt für das Ende einer Nacht.
