We were delighted to find a place to enjoy authentic Middle Eastern food in Lawrence. The possibility of purchasing groceries was also enticing. Here is what we found: Good the Lentil soup was delicious! A perfect balance of fresh flavors. The sandwich was amazing and the kabab meat very flavorful. The decorations and music were both beautiful and authentic. Bad The kabab did not come with bread. Since it was shown in pictures of the restaurant's meal online, we requested it since we thought it had been missed. The has to be one of my favorite places to go and eat or snack. I have even had their food delivered, it's a tad on the cool side when I do that but still the taste is great. The staff is always happy helpful when seating and ordering. OH! You got to try their Turkish coffee, sip it don't, drink it. It's so delightful. I can't have spicy foods these days, so Aladdin's fits in my diet plan just fine BUT they also have spicy foods for those (like my family) who enjoy it.
Lens soup was very tasty, tastes quite similar to egg drop soup. I also had falafel what was amazing. the atmosphere is welcoming and very beautiful glass. in the afternoon he was almost the only one. my only complaining is that the bathroom door obviously does not lock because I have entered twice in the span of about 30 seconds. other than that no problem at all. fair prices of my opinion would recommend, and will return if I get a chance.
Been wanting to try this place after looking at it on the map many times. I'm glad we did. The lentil soup is great! I had the shawarma and my partner had the shrimp kabob. Everything was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back.

I was happy to return after 6 years to this old favorite. the food is still delicious; the hummus is in particular unsurpassed. I love the petra platter, but they can really not go wrong on the menu. try the lens soup!
It tastes good but thought it was a bit expensive for the food we got. Also was a bit disappointed that entree did not include pita bread
I really enjoyed eating. chicken-caps, lentil soup and those wrapped in grapes, leaves, yes, they are good.
Quiet, pleasant, clean and inviting. Food was out of this world and it makes going back a sure thing.
