We went here on a Saturday night, no reservation. We'd been looking for somewhere to have steak and frites and this didn't disappoint. We both had entrecote with an excellent pepper sauce, lovely skinny frites and a small salad. The beef was tender and tasty. Washed down with 0.5l bottle of Ventoux (19 Euros). We succumbed to two very good puddings as well: tarte tatin and crème brulée. If you like steak, this is the place to go in L'isle Sur la Sourge! Total bill 95 Euros but worth it.
We had dinner in this restaurant on the small but cozy terrasse. We took the T-bone (a recommandation but not always on the menu).Cooked on fire, the meat was perfect and tasty! The french fries could have been way better if the oil has been changed.It looks like a family run restaurant. The father seems to be sometimes a bit rude but the rest of the family and staff balance the overall experience.
Nice and professional welcome. Nice and lively place. Very appreciable and fast service. Careful waitress for the comfort of small and old. Delightful cuisine. Just beautiful meat cook, quality meat piece. Socks well served, neither too much nor too little. No flat. Very fair price quality ratio. Small plus, refreshing noisy on the terrace. We recommend closed eyes.
