First, if you do not speak Spanish/Basque, bring your Mobile Phone so that YOU will have a favorable experience. Our server, “Itcy” explained the dishes in SPANGLISH, but since I had my mobile phone, we were able to translate with Itcy, the mobile phone translate and my poor Spanish. We ordered from the “Menu Fin de Semana” For Starters or “Primero”:White asparagus, cooked perfectly, and Crab Puff Pastry; the Main or “Secondi” Sirloin, cooked rare and Monkfish, both with cubed potatoes, then dessert or “ Postre” Apple with custard and Almond Pastry filled with cream. Visited San Sebastian over the weekend and after checking into our hotel a little last didn't want to head into the centre. Our hotel recommended Aldaba as a typical Basque family restaurant so we decided to give it a go. The patrons were all Spanish locals which was a good sign and a homely atmosphere was felt. A bit of a language barrier but we got through that with a few laughs along the way. Food was delicious and the waitress was fantastic and attentive. A really nice experience and a lovely start to our holiday.
Es mi segunda vez en este restaurante. Primero celebramos un cumpleaños en familia y esta última vez una comunión. La comida es tradicional y muy rica. El servicio es rápido y muy atento. La terraza es muy agradable

Este restaurante nos a encantado, el trato inmejorable, la comida riquísima y el ambiente bueno también, lo recomiendo 100% y sobretodo la tarta de queso ummmm riquísima.
Un lugar para recomendar sin dudarlo, excelente la comida y mejor aún la atenció. La merluza rellena de mariscos muy recomendable!! Y el flan de café no se queda atrás!!
